I work from a private 1:1 salon cabin in my garden in Hailsham, offering a calm, personal space where it’s all about you. I specialise in hypoallergenic treatments, using products that are carefully chosen to be allergy-conscious without compromising on quality or finish.

About me

Hey there, I'm Summer! 👋 Welcome to Nails By Summer, my 1:1 home salon right here in Hailsham, East Sussex.

I'm an experienced and professional nail technician with a true passion for creating beautiful, long-lasting nails that make you feel amazing. I specialise in hypoallergenic nail treatments, so if you have sensitive skin or allergies, you're in safe hands here.

Fun-fact, I love transforming severely bitten/picked nails into natural, grown-out beauties. Helping clients break habits like nail biting and feel proud to show off their hands, rather than hide them, is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. Growing your natural nails takes patience, but it is achievable, and so worth it. With the right support, it’s a journey you don’t have to do alone.

My goal is to leave you feeling polished, pampered, confident and empowered every time you step out of my chair. There's nothing I love more than seeing your reaction when you look down at a fresh set!

As someone who is neurodivergent myself and a proud parent of children with additional needs, I understand the importance of a welcoming, judgement-free space. Everyone is welcome in my salon, and I'll always go the extra mile to make sure you feel comfortable and at ease.

When I'm not working with clients, you'll find me keeping up with the wonderful chaos of parent life + puppy owner 🐶

Natural nails filed & shaped, thorough cuticle work & coloured gel polish application. You also have the choice of many different top coats too. Gel polish should last 2 weeks providing client follows the aftercare advice. Nail art can be added to this service providing the customer adds the additional service

Removal of previous gel polish by lightly filing previous polish down, checking your natural nail health, re-shaping, cuticle work & re-painting with a colour of your choice + topcoat.

Nail Fix (No Extention Needed)

Restore the strength of your natural nail with a precise Hard Gel or Builder Gel repair. Perfect for addressing splits, chips and preventing further breakage, this service helps keep your nails looking flawless.

Priced at £4 per nail after 72hrs from original nail appointment

Nail Fix (Extention needed)

A treatment used to repair a broken or snapped nail by restoring it to match the length of the others. A tip is carefully applied to the damaged nail and then reinforced with hard gel or builder gel to create a smooth, natural-looking finish. Using hypoallergenic products, this method is safe and gentle, allowing the natural nail underneath to grow out normally while maintaining a neat, even appearance.

Priced £5 per nail and includes the polish / design to match the rest of your set.

Foreign Acrylic Extention Removal

Restore your nails safely with professional removal of Acrylic Extentions not applied by me. I use an E-File and acetone soak, gently removing the product and shaping your natural nails. Finished with nourishing cuticle oil for healthy nails.

This service does not include a new Builder Gel set. If booked with a new set, removal is reduced to £20 and will add time to your appointment, as I do not apply HONA over other brand products.

Gel Polish Removal

Reveal your natural nails with care and comfort. This service gently removes your existing Gel Polish, followed by precise cuticle work and expert filing to shape your natural nails. A nourishing cuticle oil is applied to leave your nails healthy, hydrated, and beautifully bare.

Builder Gel Removal

Gently say goodbye to your builder gel with a safe and thorough removal process. Using an E-File, your nails are carefully filed, soaked in acetone, and the gel is gently lifted away. Your natural nails are then shaped and finished with nourishing cuticle oil for healthy, beautiful results.

Foreign Builder Gel Removal

Restore your nails safely with professional removal of builder gel not applied by me. I use an E-File and acetone soak, gently removing the product and shaping your natural nails. Finished with nourishing cuticle oil for healthy nails.
